Sixth & Rio Condos in Fort Lauderdale Begin Construction

The condominium complex, Sixth&Rio, located at 501 SE 6th Ave in Fort Lauderdale, recently broke ground, and construction is now underway. The construction crews, led by Stiles Construction, have been onsite six days a week and are rapidly making progress on the 94-unit condominium.

The site has been prepared for the building footprint, pilings have been drilled and filled, and work continues to set foundations for the construction cranes. Additional effort is focused on building out the footings and foundational elements, so expect the building to start going vertical in the coming weeks. Since the building is only eight stories, construction is planned for completion in 2026.

Once completed, 6th and Rio Condominium will offer a combination of high-rise amenities and a resort-like atmosphere. The living spaces include one, two, and three-bedroom townhouses and single-floor condos. The amenities include spacious areas with sophisticated finishes and warm décor. Residents will have access to a rooftop pool with private cabanas, bar, dining, and lounge spaces. There will also be a fitness center, coworking spaces, and conference rooms. Social spaces will include a resident clubroom with a wine bar and pool table. The design emphasizes privacy and relaxation.
